South Highland Child Development Center (SHCDC) strives to provide meaningful Christian childcare for growing children. We create a safe and happy learning environment where all children, ages six weeks through five years, can receive full-day care five days a week. 

Comprehensive safety and health regulations are followed and nutritionally sound meals and snacks are provided. To ensure superiority of our program, we support continued staff education and established curriculum, community involvement, multi-cultural studies, and family participation. The Center is a 501(c)3 licensed by the Alabama Department of Human Resources and is governed by a board of directors.

Worship at South Highland

South Highland Presbyterian Church is a dynamic, welcoming, and historic congregation located on the Southside of Birmingham, Alabama. People from all areas of the city and its suburbs attend SHPC for a Christ-centered community of worship, study, belonging, renewal, growth and outreach.
